Enerjet is looking for a Revenue Manager for our Air Services side of the business to join our dynamic team!
Enerjet is a fully licensed airline, with a history of operating private charters in Canada, the USA, the Caribbean and Europe since 2008. In 2018, we announced our plan to transition to a national Ultra-Low-Cost service, operating flights to all parts of Canada and between Canada and the USA. Led by Enerjet’s CEO Tim Morgan (one of WestJet Airlines’ co-founders), the investor group includes: Stephen Bronfman’s Montreal-based private investment firm, Claridge Inc.; Stephenson Management Inc.; as well as Indigo Partners, which specializes in investing in ultra-low-cost airlines.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer or a designate, the Revenue Manager is responsible for managing the day to day revenue optimization for all inbound fare and non-fare revenues, with all markets in the current route plans. Establish revenue projections for future route plans. Working with a team of revenue and pricing specialists, the Revenue Manager will be accountable for:
Responsibilities and Duties
Working with the commercial team, to develop and manage pricing strategies and tactics.
Working knowledge of business intelligence including analytics, data mining, data cleansing and algorithms.
Apply advanced statistics and analytics on diverse data bases to predict consumer behavior.
Develop pricing and inventory strategies to maximize revenue growth over a broad portfolio of products.
Maximizing revenue, by selling the right seat, to the right customer, at the right time and at the right price.
Monitor sales and inventories; and determine appropriate responses to market conditions in a highly competitive and dynamic situation.
Maintain pricing and product data in the Passenger Services System (PSS).
Analyzing booking patterns using data analysis, modeling research optimization, and other optimization parameters, identifying trends, outliers, and/or additional revenue opportunities in constantly evolving market conditions.
demonstrated aptitude in logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Presentation skills and solutions design delivery, translating ideas into realities.
Conduct post-audits using KPI’s (key performance indicators) and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills
Post-secondary Diploma or Degree
Technical skills – advanced data analytic skills would be considered an asset
Working knowledge in business intelligence – data mining, analytics, data cleansing, report conversion
5 + years or more of work experience working in an airline commercial team environment
Conceptually strong and capable of seeing the bigger picture, as well as analyzing and monitoring in detail, with the ability to take actions and quickly react to operational issues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate in a clear, accurate, concise, and professional manner; fluency in both verbal and written English
Self-starter and able to work under general direction, with the ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize heavy workloads and tight deadlines
High degree of motivation, commitment and adaptability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, changing environment
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
