Marketing Development Manager - Air Services

 

Enerjet is seeking a Marketing Development Manager for our Air Services side of the business to join our dynamic team!

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer or a designate, the Marketing Development Manager is responsible for developing the roll out process of all domestic and trans-border markets. This includes the analysis, identification, development, and on-going management of markets within the current route plan, and for development of future route plans.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify, evaluate and recommend markets in Canada, between Canada and the USA, and Canada and the Caribbean
  • Design and manage fare classes, fare bundles, and ancillary product offerings
  • Manage and calibrate passenger demand forecasts and other optimization parameters using historical data, recent trends, and reflecting changes in the market place
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge/understanding of bookings by true origin-destination, passenger behavior and segmentation, seasonality, holidays, special events, competition, and any other variable that may have a significant impact on assigned markets
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with airports in target markets
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Manager in maximizing revenues and provide strategic direction for generating new revenue opportunities
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge/understanding of bookings by true origin-destination, passenger behavior and segmentation, seasonality, holidays, special events, competition, and any other variable that may have a significant impact on assigned markets
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with airports in target markets
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Manager in maximizing revenues and provide strategic direction for generating new revenue opportunities

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5 + years or more of previous related work experience in a commercial airline team capacity
  • Post-secondary Diploma/Degree
  • Awareness and familiarity with marketing in the digital, web and mobility space
  • working knowledge in digital content management and promotional merchandising
  • Conceptually strong and capable of seeing the bigger picture, as well as analyzing and monitoring in detail, with the ability to take actions and quickly react to operational issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate in a clear, accurate, concise, and professional manner; fluency in both verbal and written English
  • Self-starter and able to work under general direction, with the ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize heavy workloads and tight deadlines
  • High degree of motivation, commitment and adaptability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, changing environment
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
